About Tim Haskins

Tim has been musically inclined from his early days growing up in Louisiana. As with many kids, it started with piano lessons, then developed as he participated in high school stage shows and musicals. His stage experience includes playing Max Detweiler in "The Sound of Music," and the infamous Professor Harold Hill in "The Music Man." More recently, Tim returned to the stage with the Arizona State University Wind Symphony portraying John Phillip Sousa.

It wasn't until 1996 that Tim started singing actively again after a chance meeting with a member of The Phoenicians chorus. Tim quickly became heavily involved, and was selected as a member of their front row. Tim's inclusion in the front row was humorous since has never known for his dancing abilities.

Tim has been a member of several quartets, including Heritage Square, Hallmark, Allegro and now Equinox. Tim feels very fortunate to be singing with the caliber of guys found in Eric, Jim and Dave.

Tim attended the University of Arizona in Tucson and received a degree in business administration. He is a commercial real estate appraiser providing consulting and litigation support services for property owners, local municipalities and attorneys. In 1990, he married his college sweetheart, who is now the principal of a Phoenix-area high school. They are blessed with a young daughter, born in 1999, who has Tim appropriately wrapped around her little finger.
